DIY Houses By Night | Fellow Fellow
If you’ve ever been overseas, I’m pretty sure you would have pictures of amazing buildings from your travels. But once you come home, the pictures probably sit on your computer, languishing in their folder! Wouldn’t this be an amazing way to display them? Plus: great conversation piece! Just follow the image guide and you’re on your way to some great art with special memories.

Does anyone understand how excited I am about these?

Faux Bois Vase | Centsational Girl
Oh my gosh, I thought that these vases were so much more complicated than they actually are! I love anything faux bois but more often than not it is quite expensive (and hard to find). This look is achieved by using sealant to draw the design, then spray paint over the top to create the ceramic look. Now that my cat has eliminated another vase, I’m looking for new ones so I think this is going to go on my DIY list!

DIY Herringbone Drawer Shelves via ivillage. I love this idea. I am always running across drawers whose counterpart housing unit is no longer acceptable furniture. Putting on my list of DIY’s I intend on doing in the craft room I may one day have….oh to dream.

EcoNest - Eco Friendly Nesties Etsy Team: Snapping Reusable Paper Towels
Our household is paper towel free, has been for years. I keep a drawer of old t-shirts and rags for spills, but these, well I think they are divine. I would love to have these pretties sitting out for at least the counter spills. And I’ll save my drawer of rags for floor spills. I have a billion yards of flannel, I wonder how many snaps I have?

Eco-friendly and adorable! Think of all the different color/pattern combinations you could do..

DIY Oak Leaf Bowl. Tutorial and video from Martha Stewart here. Made out of 3 layers: wool tweed,  fusible webbing, and felt.  Downloadable pattern of leaf shows you where to sew up the darts. Pretty easy actually. Great gifts for the holidays.
